Taylor Lautner has become a star overnight due to his role in the new series of Twilight films. He is quickly becoming a men's fashion icon as well. DKNY Men's Spring 2010 Collection

It's never too early to start planning ahead, right? Here is a sneak peak of the DKNY Men's Spring 2010 Collection. I personally think there is some great inspiration for the spring. The designs are relatively simplistic. Less is more in this collection. There is definite theme of yellow throughout. I wouldn't be surprised if you saw quite a few guys wearing yellow this spring. Pairing a vibrant color with neutrals always helps it stand out no matter what time of year. Also, noticed the cuffing of the pants. It'll be interesting to see if this catches on. Time will tell.

Men's Shawl Collar Cardigans

Men's cardigans have come back into fashion with a vengeance during the last year or so. Now that fall is settled in we decided we would look at a twist of the classic men's cardigan. Men's shawl collar cardigans are a more stylish alternative to the traditional cardigan. It gives more of the "grandpa" feeling - with loads more style of course. Like I've said before - this isn't your grandfather's cardigan sweater. It really isn't a half bad look. It is great for the cold fall, winter, and early spring months. If you're looking to impress ... this is the ticket. Almost anyone can pull it off - it is more a matter of confidence.

Because the shawl collar cardigan sweater is so trendy, there are not many dirt cheap options. We found some reasonably priced alternatives. My two favorites are the Martin & Osa variation (up above) and the Shades of Griege Cardigan (but it is a bit more expensive).

One last caution. If you are buying a cardigan as a gift make sure it matches the man you're buying for. A guy who wears jeans and old t-shirt everyday just won't go for it. It can be a great gift for the more fashion-minded guy, however. What's your take? Embrace or leave it to grandpa?

Men's plaid flannel shirts are hot this season for some reason or another. I'm not quite sure where this trend came from, but it came fast and hard. I have to admit, I am starting to really catch on to it. Maybe it is the idea that I could personify the image of the manly lumberjack sporting the plaid flannel shirt - with a whole lot more fashion sense of course. Whatever it is, men's plaid flannel shirts are definitely a hot buy this season. It is a great gift too. Today we're going to show you how it is possible to put together a complete winter men's outfit for less than $100. Fashion doesn't always have to be expensive. Every man is need of basic V-neck T-shirts in a variety of colors. Finding the right v-neck can be a bit difficult, however. Some are two deep and some are too subtle. Every man needs a good scarf for the winter. Men's winter scarves are one of the hottest trends this year. Although it seems like it is just a small part of your outfit, it really can make it or break it. Plus, men's scarves really are a perfect gift around the holidays. You really can't go wrong buying a scarf as gift. It isn't as cliche as getting a tie and, even after the holidays, there is still plenty of time to put it to use. Every man can pull off a scarf - no matter what size or shape.

When purchasing a men's scarf you really have quite a bit to consider. You wouldn't think that scarves would be very expensive, but they often are. They can be made of simple fleece or with the finest cashmere. It is really a matter of deciding what you want. While men's cashmere or merino scarves look and definitely feel great - you'll be paying for the quality. When buying scarves you also get tp chooise a design. Scarves are great because you can go crazy and it doesn't matter. Bulky or light, simple or extravegant ... everything is came. It's a great way to have a little fun even if you have to stay conservative with the rest of your clothing.

Perhaps the best thing about men's scarves are the fact that they are extremely functional. Function follows fashion here. You can stay warm and look great at the same time. Holiday Novelty Ties

Holiday novelty ties can be a great gift for the men in your life who are hard to shop for. They also seem to be a common impulse buy this time of year. Sure, they are not the most fashionable accessory you'll ever buy, but holiday novelty ties can be a lot of fun. They are especially great if you're around kids or someone who needs a little cheering up. For some reason kids seem enamored with them. While maybe not the best choice for a corporate Christmas party, holiday ties are great when your feeling a bit "festive".

One of the rules that is often times forgotten by the fashionable man is that one doesn't always have to follow the rules! You spend most of the year looking great so when you spice it up with - yes, even a tacky holiday tie- people get a kick out of it. Make someone smile a bit. Do something out of character. Taylor Lautner Hairstyle

Taylor Lautner is quickly becoming one of the most famous stars in young Hollywood today and is about to get even more famous with the release of the new Twilight film this month. I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of the series, but let's face it - we're going to see him around for a while. Taylor Lautner's hairstyle is a great example of the classic spiked style. The look is actually not to hard to re-create. Rather than gel, try using a styling paste. Start by getting a bit on your fingertips and emulsifying it on your palms and fingers. Work the paste through the hair and style it with the desired amount of messiness. One thing I've found is that you'll get the best look by working in the direction of your hair. This style is best on men with thicker hair, but can be used in variation on many guys.

I must say that Taylor Lautner does not quite pull off the long haired look. This brings me to my next point. Know what looks best on YOU. Some people can't pull off longer styles, others can. Some men look great with highly styled hair while others look best with naturally styled hair. Know what looks best on you.
