The big Nordstrom Anniversary sale this weekend is the perfect excuse to stock up on your favorite men's fashions. Neckties are often thought of as the worst gift you could give to a guy, but let's be honest - a good tie is a must. Nordstrom offers a wide variety of designer ties. Today we're featuring four of my favorite ties from the Anniversary Sale.

Ties are far from boring. Skinny ties have made a comeback in a big way the last few years. Remember when wearing a narrow tie to make sure the lapels on you jacket are narrow as well. Otherwise the two differing widths will clash.
